Our guest house is situated in the old part of town in one of the most beautiful streets of Lüneburg. Both the street and the guest house are a popular motif on many postcards from Lüneburg.
The house lies in the heart of Lüneburg within walking distance of all tourist attractions.
Despite its central location, our guest house is located in a tranquil area. The street “Auf dem Meere” is a one-way road in which only residents can park. However, you may stop your car to load or unload your luggage. Then you can park your car in the designated areas in the underground car park around the corner.
If you arrive by train, we’re 10 – 15-minute walk from the station.
It is definitely worth looking around Lüneburg. The old salt-producing town looks back on a history of 1050 years and has various museums, old churches, ancient tombs and a lovingly restored old town.
Lüneburg is also a lively student town with a long Hanseatic tradition. Offering over 350 different restaurants and bars, it has the highest concentration of pubs, clubs and bars in all of Germany. In the pedestrian zone, you will find many small modern shops behind historic facades. Lüneburg is the perfect place to stroll up and down the streets, enjoy good food and drink, and go shopping – all within walking distance of our guest house.
